Using the service
Paper Animation provides browser-based tools for creating animated paper effects. By using the service, you agree to these terms. You must be able to enter into an agreement under applicable law or have the permission required to use the service. If you do not agree, do not use it.
Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in the images, text, and other content you bring to the editor. You are responsible for having permission to use that content and for the ways you distribute your exports. Using an effect does not grant rights to someone else’s photograph, artwork, trademark, or other material.
You permit the processing needed to carry out your editing and export actions. Selecting a source image does not publish it on the website. Review each export before using or sharing it.
Accounts
If you sign in, keep your sign-in account secure and do not share access in a way that compromises another person’s information. Contact us if you believe your account has been misused. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.
Acceptable use
- Use the service lawfully and respect other people’s privacy and rights.
- Do not use it to create unlawful, abusive, or infringing material.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or introduce harmful code.
- Do not misrepresent ownership of content or use the service to deceive others.
Exports and local storage
Processing and export performance depend on your device, browser, and source material. Keep the tab open until your export finishes and verify the downloaded file. Browser drafts can be lost if you clear site data, change browsers, or run out of storage. Keep your own copies; browser storage is not a guaranteed backup.
Third-party content and services
Some features rely on third-party services, and the website may link to other websites. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to their services. References to third-party names or materials do not imply endorsement or grant you permission to reuse them.
Availability and access
Features may change or be unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances outside our control. We may restrict or suspend access to address misuse, security concerns, legal requirements, or violations of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.
Responsibility and applicable law
We aim to provide a useful editor but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or suitability for every purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses arising from content you supply, your use of exports, or loss of local drafts.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law. If a dispute arises, contact support@paperanimation.org so we can first try to resolve it. Applicable law governs any rights and remedies that remain available to you.
